Emma Stone in Lanvin at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. My favourite look of the night, just so gorgeous. Redheads always look great in purple (trade secret tbh,) but the belt was a great choice and I’m jealous of her eye makeup. Love her.
Angelina Jolie in Versace at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Oh my god, right? It’s jaw dropping. I think a huge part of why this looks so incredible is how it stands out in contrast with everything else she’s worn to public appearances for the past year: lots of black (read: always black), loose hair, minimal styling. It’s sort of like how most models default to ‘these jeans and that top’…because they can. She’s genetically blessed enough that she looks amazing with almost no effort. But when she puts the effort in, well, this is what you get.
